LOTRO is not what you just said. It's 25 pounds to buy in shops (off HMV anyway) and you have the CHOICE of 100 pounds for lifetime or 5.99 a month based on a 6 month subscription. The 10 days free was to be able to get on the servers 10 days before anyone else, as in from 14-4-2007 until today, which is when the servers went public.

It has some good qualities, like the music system. It's just a shame that recently it's been loaded with noobs and the spawns are just plain awful.

As for Archlord and Tales of Pirates - yet more Eastern crap pumped out on a 50p budget: it can't even begin to rival LOTRO.

Looks pretty, free MMOs don't cut it, I feel while they're free that's a plus and they'll have a higher user base, they just can't afford to do things that SOE and Blizzard can

Archlord is poo, 3 servers and then can only maintain one and if they had all 3 open i bet they would be empty. the movement is choppy and un-accurate and as lotro is made by the same company(codemaster i think) i am more inclined to leave em both alone

Codemasters is a publisher, not a producer.
LOTRO is made by Turbine, the same people who did Dungeons & Dragons Online.

I played LC for a while, still pop on now and then.
Was pretty good for a F2P MMO.

WoW is nothing unless you're either high level/high ranked orr you have loads of friends on there constantly.

I play WoW, Silk Road Online (Development purposes) and GunZ atm.

LA seems good iam lvl 8 , ive got a hacthling a baby dragon lol. is it just for transport when it grows up or does it help fight?

what lvl does it turn to a drake and dragon?


edit: more questions it takes alot of mining to feed it lol
and is deree of sympathy for it good to be high?

Right your pet evolves at level 16 then again at level 31, you can use tool aids on mining and harvesting (if u get a tool aid) and it gives you 27 of each material.

Stones give Hunger and Leafs give HP. Sympathy is based of Hunger and HP.

Thats what i thought, but its different from WoW in many ways that become apparent whilst playing.

Ive taken a break from WoW to play it, 2.5years.. i need a break.
