New msn virus

thiers a new virus going round on msn. when you click the link it asks you to download the file and then it disables your firewall and auto sends this message to your contacts

Well how do you get rid of it if you don't know what it is?

Have you ran AVG/Panda in safemode?

Start > Run > "MSCONFIG" > Startup > Untick "System.exe". Apply and restart.

i had this dunno whether it d/led the site i went to just gave me page cannot be displayed but my f/w is now disabled so hmm

edit: scammed pc found nothing sooo....?

So far it wont let me sign onto msn, it has disabled my firewall so i cant get it back up and it auto send that message to all of my online contacts

My friend had the same thing, AVG solved it. Download AVG, go in to safe mode, and do a full system scan. That fixes it. Also for all those other weird processes you have running, download MS Antispyware and do a full system scan with that also (in safe mode).

did that found a trojan (great -.-) but still have the msn problem
