Just because the signature regulations are 600 x 180 doesn't mean you make it that size. And as for the, "It can fit more in it if it's bigger..." No it can't, it can fit the same ammount in it.. Just make the image smaller to fit the smaller signature and wa-la.

And again you say it can fit more in it, yet you leave the left and right side completely plain? and cram everything into the middle.
