NPC Chat above head?

I had no idea what to search for, so I'm posting this as more of a request.

Is there any possibility that you can actually set it up so NPCs can speak to people without them being clicked on? I mean, rather than opening up the chat box, the text just appears above the NPCs head, so they can say stuff like:

"I can teach beginners how to play the game..."

or something like that?

With mir2 no [or ive missed something somewhere], with mir3 yes.

would that not just spam the chat box, or would it only appear in the users chat box, other than everyones... would be a pain if it went in everyone's especially with all the freaks out there who are set out on to annoy on servers
