You need all the patches from dragonnet, many people who didnt had the same problem most i think were solved with all patches. Also try upgrading your directx and Graphics drivers if that doesnt solve the problem

Looks like a GUI issue, however, if you click & drag the text up so you can see all of it, try cliking in random places below the end of the text to find the button (if it's not visible, and if the problem persists).
