The Above suggestions are bull.

What is the res you plan of playing games at?
What type of games?

if its games such as Bf4 and 1080p res then i suggest you look at overclockers.co.uk for a Prebuilt if you are noob and cant build your own or look for an Intel i5 bundle and add the extras to it.

This one is nice if you add the R9 270x GPU and a 2TB Hdd

Why are you suggesting Intel and Nvidia over AMD for gaming when he's on a budget? That's daft.

Sent from my Nokia Lumia 920.

i wouldn't really say £700 is a budget. you can get a high end gaming setup for that. obviously he couldn't get any titans, but who needs anything of that spec anyway.

u can get a 660ti for under £200, which is better than what the next gen consoles have.

Whereas you can get an AMD 7950 which is better than the 660ti for around £170-180.
That card is only slightly better (some would disagree), and u can get a 660ti around £180, i just rounded the nearest figure.

for me for the sake of such a small difference, id go with nvidia they've never done me wrong and are the better of the two developers.

How can you say they are the better of the two developers? Where's your source of this?

A big point would be that considering both of the next generation consoles (XB1 and PS4) use AMD hardware all-round, more and more games will be tailored to AMD. Like Battlefield 4 is.

Avoid the ebay deals and build your own. It's really not hard to build your own PC and you know exactly what you have in there.

Make sure you have an SSD - Best thing I've purchased for my PC in a long time.

Definitely going back to an AMD system, Nvidia on a Win8 PC = suck.

Thanks for suggestions guys and I'm glad I started another AMD / Intel debate, it's been fun.

I can build a PC although it was a few years ago, but as I have a decent job, I Wouldn't mind getting Over Clockers to build it for me considering they do necessary stress tests and 24 months warranty.

I have been looking at AMD system more over Intel due to my previous experiences with AMD have been great.

Also the reason for the £700 price tag is that I plan on buying a whole new set up, monitor / gaming peripherals etc,

Cheers again ladies!
