Port Forwarding - Problem

I've Forwarded my Port's and for some reason. i can connect to the server using the below..

192.168.*.*

But when i put my Global IP in on my mate's computer, it doesn't let me connect it come's up with a blank screen, any idea's guys?, any help would be Great. thanks

192.168.*.* only your network will be able to connect using that. For anyone else they will need to enter the global ip, if it comes up with a blank screen something must be wrong, aka ip/ports but i presume it be an ip error somewhere.
