Problem

Hey, my m8 has set up a server.

he did everethn ok and people were playing.

but, now he's just changed IP and made new .cin and nobody can connect. all gates are up etc.

any ideas?

u will need to change the cin file if the ip has changed .. u will also need to change it in the same way as u first done it when u first put the server up .. if i remember rightly

yes 2 in the sql and the dsv server txt file

follow the guide from start to end, look where u put the net ip, and change it

tht's the guide he followed. like i said, people have already played, its just when he chnaged the ip's it didnt work.

IP can be too long... or if he gets new broadband/internet it can has own firewall, or :P
