There is maybe a posting for it on here....... but it looks like i have not the right keyword (find tag) for the search function.

I know some People here host server over privat connections (HomeServer). I think with the Connections that are now possible it is no problem to do it.

The question is now what i-net lines did that people use to have a nearly lagfree running server ?

(nearly lagfree cause much things can make trouble like hardware specs from Computer)

how much upload and download need a server with +- 100 people ?

(I had servers but ever on rented dedi servers from big companys and i never looked on the transfer ratings :cool1

Ive ran old mir3 msrf files with 45-60 users online on a high speed cable connection 1.1mb DL 64kb UL.

I think you could pull it off with 250-350kb/s upload speed.
