I have created a Holley 3.38 server. To connect to it, I am using the EuroClient downloaded from
http://secured.mf.kaorimir.com/

I can login to Mir, I can create my character, then I click "Start Game". It then says "You are being connected to the server. Please wait a second". it just stays on this screen.

If I check the RunGate on the server it says "Kick off". How can I resolve this and get into the game?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I am not actually using a router, this all on my local LAN. My server is on IP 192.168.0.9 and my client is on 192.168.0.4.

In any case, I have tried setting all the IPs to 127.0.0.1 and it has not helped.

Incidentally I have seen other posts describing my problem on Holley 3.38 server, but there has never been a solution posted, so it will be interesting to see if you guys can come up with anything. I am almost there, please help!

I was under the impression that mirlogin and regserver are only relevant to 3.55? (I am running 3.38) Am I wrong?

I have made a little progress on this I think. It now stays "Gate 0 opened" in CruelDragon3G. Also instead of saying "Kick off" in the RunGate log, it just keep disconnecting the client and then the client re-connects. This just happens in a loop continually. I have tried turning off all firewalling on the server and all firewalling on the client, but this has not helped.

Also, I tried setting all the IPs the way you said Buldok, but it did not help, so I have put the IPs back to how it suggests in another post on the forums. I have tried many different IP setups that have been suggested on old posts, but none of them help.

I start all the processes in the following order :-
LoginSvr.exe
DBSvr.exe
CruelDragonMir3G.exe

I wait till it says "Magic gate has been generated." then I start :-
mirlogin.exe
Gate30.exe
RunGate.exe

All my configs etc are below :-

I have managed to solve my own problem, so I am posting the solution here in case anyone else experiences this issue.

Issue :-

After choosing your character and clicking "Start Game" it says "You are being connected to the server. Please wait a second", but it never connects.

The solution :-

The warrior and wizard co-ordinates in !setup.txt point to an invalid location. The Taoist co-ordinates are ok, so copy the co-ordinates from the taoist into the warrior and wizard fields. When you start CruelDragonMir3G.exe it will overwrite !setup.txt, meaning that you will lose your changes. A work around for this is, is once you have made the required changes, make !setup.txt a read-only file. CruelDragon will complain that it cannot write to !setup.txt, but at least you can login to the game!
