Hey LOMCN.

I can sell you a Collectors Edition CD-Key for either Frogster EU or En Masse US for only £30. I am also listing these on Ebay for £32.99 (more than on this forum because of all the bloody fees involved!) and so far have only sold one, and the bastard still hasn't left me feedback... Don't mind the poor feedback please this isn't a scam :).

How am I doing this?
Lets just say I found a chinese supplier of these keys, so I bought a few in bulk and so can afford to sell them for this price.

Here's my Ebay listing.

I don't really mind if you buy it through Ebay, or if you do it through PMs on this forum. Through the forum I get a couple extra quid, and on Ebay, clearly I need more feedback and you'd be helping my future sales.

I'm hoping to branch out and start selling more game keys in the future too hopefully.

Anyway, cheers guys.
And I hope this isn't against forum rules :P (I did check!).

Peace!

Not to say your keys aren't geniune Doobie, but a lot of people who purchased keys from ShopTo have had their accounts blocked because they were made dodgy.

Why would a Chinese supplier have keys for EU and US? I'm pretty sure the keys are made and distributed directly by Frogster and EnMasse.

I've had one guy tell me his account has been banned just today, actually (I've asked him for proof that it was indeed the code that got him banned, which he hasn't provided yet). I really hope this doesn't start happening to all the buyers or I'll be in a bit of a shitstorm.

I've resold all sorts of codes before mainly Microsoft points, Xbox LIVE time and iTunes credit and things like that and never had a problem... What the hell's up with Tera? I thought all codes were generated by Frogster and EnMasse, but people could obtain them at a cheaper price per unit when they're purchased in bulk?

Didn't think this was like the 90's / early 00's where you could whack out a keygen and create "illegal" codes.

If I get one more ban complaint rolling in I'm going to take the listing down and carry on with the **** that I already know works and list that on Ebay instead.

Do all non-Frogster/EnMasse codes get banned then? Can you confirm this, lol... I really ****ing do hope not. .,.

No its not all of them. I purchased my code from a different company and its been fine. I've only heard people being banned if they bought it from http://www.shopto.net/ but i honestly can't remember what the reason was for them. (only a percentage of people who purchased from there got banned)

People who purchased the game from certain online retailers but when they got the game the money was never taken so they got the game for free, all those accounts got banned.

I never check to see if the money has been taken out myself, you would assume it had, i just don't understand why they banned all accounts and not just freeze them until they paid for the game.

Still i wouldn't buy from above, go buy from Frogster/Enmasse and you won't have a problem.

This is a relief :), were the people who purchased from ShopTo able to get their accounts unbanned without paying any further fees (as they already paid for the game)?

So what you're saying is, people who purchased a digital code online, but the retailer actually failed to take their money; they got banned? Or are you saying the retailer themselves failed to pay Frogster/EnMasse for the keys? Why would Frogster/EnMasse care? Surely they have already recieved their money for the keys when they sold them to the 3rd party retailers?

Also just for the record, 1 out of 9 people I sold the keys to have had any problems so far, and this 1 person hasn't actually shown me proof as to the reason he was banned yet. For all I know he could of just been cheating. Also, if I provide my supplier proof of any of the keys not working, he will send me either another key or the money back... Meaning, I should be able to do refunds.
Not gonna lie though, if the supplier doesn't refund me I won't refund the customer. But I would be very surprised if he doesn't refund me as I've been purchasing all sorts of different codes from them for years (easily spent over £1000) and only now have I ever had a (potential) problem.

EDIT: I will keep this updated on the guy who got banned though to see whether it's legit or if he's bluffing :P

Most retailers dont "sell" their products to third parties, They allow the third party to advertise and sell on behalf of them.

Which leads to my issue, If this is how the two companies work together, the customer shouldn't be penalised, the issue is with the third party retailer. Either way I think to disable or interfere with your customers product is way out of order, Settle the dispute with your third parties.
