Someone who plays on my server has told me that possible lag and d/c's is down to being DOS attacked etc, i was told to download ZoneAlarm and i also had Norton Protection Center and windows firewall up but none of these drop the constant drops and lag we get on the game can anyone please help me

When it happens everyone on my server drops at the same time, im getting logs on my firewall saying TCP(flags:AP) RunGate.exe and there is a serious of ips, i can post all the ips if u like

3 Software Firewalls = Bad
Norton = VERY BAD (Makes PC into a 486).
A Firewall Blocks Access but as you have opened up Ports / Pograms to allow it through - what is it Stopping?

Remove All Firewalls Bar Built in one.

1.What Spec of Server?
2. What UPLOAD do you have (could not cvare less about your Download speed)
3. Do you run a Web Site on same machine?
4. Are you Grabbing Torrents at the same time?
5. Are you running Client on the same machine as server?

Maybe learn about Computers and Comms - this may help instead of installing as many Firewalls as possible without understanding any of the process.
