Its LLU (24mbit) they're offering. Most likely something to do with their purchase of Easynet. Being LLU, the upload will be 448 or 768.

Their 'unlimited' offering has a 40GB p/m 'FUP' attached.

You honestly thought they were about to stick a bidirectional dish in everyones homes and a internet sat in the Astra constelation? :P Silly boi.

EDIT: On actually on rereading your post I see you didn't think they'd install a bidir dish but a seperate line. Go read up on the latest satnet offerings - you don't need a seperate connection anymore. My thing bout the astra-sat still stands tho
