Ok, you're neck-deep in the cacky, so to speak.

But fear not, there is light at the end of this tunnel ;)

Firstly, download & instal Lavasoft Ad-Aware. We'll use this for the first round of crap-clearing.

Once that's installed, use the Windows Task Manager (Control + Shift + Escape) to kill the following processes:

C:\Program Files\OneStepSearch\onestep.exe
C:\WINDOWS\wanmpsvc.exe
C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe
C:\Program Files\Windows Live\Messenger\usnsvc.exe
C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe
C:\DOCUME~1\CONNOR~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\2516062.exe
C:\Documents and Settings\Connor N Liam\Desktop\HijackThis.exe

With these processes ended (Don't worry if some can't be closed), run the Ad-Aware scanner.

That should cut most (if not all) of it out.

After that, you need to give me an Internet Explorer add-ons listing (Google how to manage add-ons).

--

Or, if you're feeling crafty, and haven't installed many programs recently, you could simply System Restore your PC back to a time before the pop-ups ;)

Run the HijackThis again and tick the lines corrosponding to the problem areas, then press the "fix selected" button.

Then I agree with the above, get ad-aware and run it.

This is to cure, prevention is setting up a decent firewall and virus checker however.... I personally think you can't scrimp on this and you should buy a decent one, AVG is ok but it's nowhere near good enough in my opinion.
