Can somebody help please, it's not letting me install SQL 2000.

Everytime i attempt to install the prorgamme it's saying that i need to restart my computer, ive tried restarting god knows how many times and it still don't seem to work :S

Yeah im on vista, but if you download both of them it allows 2000 to run with 2005 installed. I personally find 2000 more easier to use than 2005.

That shudnt stop the installation of SQL anyways.
And it does say my problem in the first post

Okay, a few tips:

Make sure you run the installation as the Administrator.

There are known compatability issues between Vista and SQL2000, but it can work.

Installing SQL2000 on a Vista machine that has SQL2005 installed results in the error message you are getting now. I recommend installing SQL2000 on a (preferably XP) machine that does not have any other versions of SQL installed on it.
