i don't like that, take away that boarder and pattern overlay, add a different boarder and some more content and i might like it :/

One of your best piece in terms of text. Font choice is good and text placement works. Good border.
The rest isn't as bad as people are saying. I think most people say scan-lines are played out...well they're only played out on LoMCN because you all copy each other. Plus...too plain? Well plain can be good it depends what your aim is. I think people in this section need to stop posting comments based on what the masses think and do it on what they think themselves.
