Tao summoning different pets.

I want it so that say at level 20 you summon a skeleton.
Level 30 you summon an adv skeleton,
level 40 skeleton elite....

So i can make level 2 skeleton skill level available at level 30, but how do i make it so it doesnt spawn like a level 2 skeleton, but spawns a different mob?

Seen this on a few servers, i just dont know were to change the mob the book spawns.

you can do this by changing this in the setup.txt

Skeleton=BoneFamiliar
Dragon=Shinsu
Dragon1=Shinsu1
this will change the normal summon skill for taos. or you can make a scroll which you can click that will summon a diffrent mob and this can be set that only taos can use.

Yeh I want Summon skeleton to still summon a normal skele @ lvl 19... but then when you get level 2 summonskeleton, it summons a different mob.

So when u level the skill up it becomes a different mob, saw this on 1.4 and 2.3 servers so it must be doable!!

i think you change this bit in the setup.txt not 100% sure mind you.

Skeleton0=EvilTaoSnake
Skeleton1=CyberDevil
Skeleton2=Arbitrator
Skeleton3=YellowBack
Skeleton4=Comandant
Skeleton5=Comandant
Skeleton6=Comandant
Skeleton7=Comandant
Skeleton8=Comandant
Skeleton9=Comandant

you would of course have to create the mobs in monster db

I used 7/8/9 keys for this...(only need one of them) so say 7...

Just put in all the relevant checks like tao class, level etc and then summon the appropriate mob.

Depends what files you're using... this could most likely be coded into the files which the sources are available.


But as Tai said, could just use the 7 key (old method is old, but still works).

how did you do it? :)
been playing with the !setup
for bout a week, changed a fw setting but can only get bit to summon one pet of 1 type.
and any got a easy script for key 7 or somethink :)?

make all the mobs in ure monster DB... for example ADVskeleton

Then go to m2 > function>magics>bonefamiliar.

Self explanitary from there.

You MUST make the mobs in ure monster db before doing it or it gives u an error message.

Aint found it in M2Server.. I wanted to do this with shinsu :| Got 3-4 transforms.. Anyone here got this working on heros?:)

is there a way to increase the cap of 10 monsters? tried manually adding them to the !setup file and wont work.
