Thoughts on why 3.5X does not work for us.

I am not sure if anyone is left messing with the 3.5X set of files shared and how far they have got, I am of course still banging away and plan to get this working no matter what it takes.

Now there is a few things that are crossing my mind:

DBServer - do we need a updated one to mkae it work, this would make sense as the stats are in the database and the client talks to dbserver.

Rungate - as a direct link and translated packets to/from client to server, this might well need updating.

Client - I have tried LOADS now and mixed results, getting closer but still not quite there.

I have traced the thing to death and it def is talking somehow just not displaying, this sounds more like packets not talking correctly then anything else. Any more thoughts on this? or...are you all now focusing more on Mir2 2.3 etc??

Further testing
I tried the Latest Gates with my 3.40 files (same as 3.38 trust me) and they also work, So personally I think this rules out the gates myself. God I wish we had some chinese person who could point me in the right forum direction as all the forums I have are now Dead !!

Im still pounding away at this game for sure.Iv gotten another server called HL3.55-incloader which is the same.all that is diff is npc's and all boots along with hp stat.mana,bag,and a few other stats still bugged out.like you iv also tryed a number of clients but not ready to throw in towel.im not a master coder or anything but i do what i can trial and error.id like to decrypt this exe and ini but like i said i know nothing like that but lil lol.atm im using my client stuff along with my envir and new maps.i figure if i get it running straight then ill mess with china envir.also if i do get it running right i wont hesitate to spread the files to you guys cuz really everyone here helped me alot in transing a few things.i just wish more coders would jump in and bang away.what would be nice is if the source files got out like mir 2.<dreaming>

I got a set from a guy calling himself EvilKing he released a full set of crueldragon files with crack and a huge key lol and client I just havnt had time to test

Only reason he released is because he has his own set of files(Custom not based on holley or king i beleive) that he is charging for

Well its prob the same CD version but it has some sort of network crack(along with the crack i already released) for it? well thats what babelfish said lol

The 7kb file is the crack we are already using an you shouldnt have to run it if you've already cracked CD
The netcheck.exe is whats new along with the ini file I would of tried em myself but there packed in a way that my virus scanner no likes and I aint turning it off

Has anyone run server and client on full chinese operating system. Apparently the datapackets may be altered if the client not on chinese operating system and this is why the client has a problem.

A Differnet Set
I just got a whole Bunch of files last night, will have a play and see what they do, they def mention putting the key into the INI.

Chinese O/S
The client side does not matter, as proven by the fact I joined a few chinese 3.55 servers and can play no problems. This leaves Only the Server side, my rig is set up to almost be chinese anyhow (date formats etc) - so I dont see why a pure chinese O/S Would make any difference - that would have meant 3.38 onwards would also have the same problems would it not?

Well I ran the server on english op and on chinese the data packets are different. As is the client when u put i on a chinese and english op, they have different packets info.
Good luck with new set of files, keep us posted. I'm currently trying to rewrite Holley client DLL.

KAV picks up a few files (Inc the one I have) with some nice torjans etc inc this one - yet NOD and many others dont - wierd. The Keygen program (Above) also need registering as it goes - mad

Damm, as I changed my CPU in that Machine, Armadillo is now wanting a new Reg, this was fine for 3.40 as I can do this by Hand but now all 3.5X wont go past the HWID key thing. The tools I grabbed not only seem to contain a virus/torjan but also have expired. I tired to Force this to register (also uses Armadillo as it goes) but to no avail - so really back to sqaure one.

3.56 runs and I can get in but no Stats, 3.55 Dated Jan 06 wont get in game (Black Screen) and 3.55 Dated March 06 is much the same. The chinese forum I was on last night with all these goodies has now like gone down (or I was blocked). I searched for CruelDragon3GBasedata to find the files.

Now I have some thoughts (I might have mentioned these before).
3.3X requires a HWID (in other words get passed Armadillo) and then a Ley= in the INI or it just wont work period.
3.5X is the very same but a different Armadillo (4.X) and a Different Key. Now this key ties the server to your IP (machine running Server anyhow) and Server name - has anyone thought of naming the server by the same name as per the Account Database to see if it macicly works?

I got the beta 100 version. Making database changes now. If it works, would anyone like to help me find the crack for it? Demonic? You seem to be good on chinese websites and there must be a crack. But I'm not sure as noone has mentioned it.

King 4.34 has been out for a while, we have banged it to death I am sure and never got anywhere fast. I "think" I have cracks for every 3G Set of Server files - one day one of them might actually work, I will get in game and have some stats - lol

can u upload that key gen?? so we can download....u see, when i talked with cruelD, he told me that to eneter in the game we would need a valid key!!!he told me how to generate the key! we need the key generator! i believe that pic is the key gen...upload plz!! if it work's ill tell u how to get the key from the server.

But my point Johny is that the keygen is expired (wont work) and is also protected by Armadillo, so you goota hack the hacking thing to get a hack (you following this lol). Now my Mir3 3.40 is even screwed with all this 3.5X Crap - god I wish I had left it alone tbh !!
