Have I lost track yet of the number of people asking the same questions over and over??? Who knows.. anyhow
In this order, things to check:
1. Are the correct Databases restores in SQL
2. Have you put the Correct IP in the ACCOUNT DB as per the guide
3. Have you set up and tested the right ODBC's
4. Have you edited the !Setup.txt file using the supplied programs to match your IP
5. Have you checked all the INI files inside each gate to match your IP
6. Have you checked !serverinfo.txt so it reads 127.0.0.1,127.0.0.1:7200
7. Have you restored the original chinese database "Untouched" and see if it works.
8. Silly qyestion as I can see you not done this - Have you installed the Chinese Lang Pack on Windows so instead of see ASCII you actually see Chinese for a change??
My point is this, you will def 100% need to have CHinese(PRC) set up or the server will fall over badly trying to read Acsii and anyhow later on you will need to translate the words from chinese into english or are you going to copy and paste ASCII into Babel and think it will somehow tell you the english meaning???
