Virgin are very stingy with their upload speeds, usually have to pay extra.

Just recently upgraded with Sky to get fibre 40MB still on the probationary period though so it is expected to hit 40 within a couple of days but heres mine from this morning



May i also add that where alot of people have their favorite ISP but i really cant fault sky, couple of hick ups maybe but the customer service is spot on from my dealings with them

when ut3 is out after xmas i will be getting that its 10 pound more and should get me 350+

because "colocation" is renting space in the DC to store your own equipment, unsure how your getting the connection at home..

its why VM is ****, they double everyones speed making them sooooo fast, yet pisss poor upload, an people dont seem to worry, when they should.. upload counts more to gaming if you ask me. its ook reciving data from the server, but if y our slow sending the data back, its lag.

pay about £40 for my internet + phone line, probably just under £100 including all TV etc from Sky.

my speeds are reasonable for the £25 a month tbh. i find mine drops during the day quite alot with sky.

just done a test and this is what i got. this is with streaming from my pc to my tv also.

not bad for the lower tier of sky, I myself never get any issues with speeds at any time of day
