Basically I was in college today doing some welding as part of an engineering course, and a bit of metal spurted up when i was chipping my weld (bare in mind this is melting metal) and landed in the inside corner of my eye, I had to pick it out with my fingers and it was fuc*ing agony. Looked in the mirror when i got home and that part of ym eye is a little burnt, and when I blink it hurts :(!

Suggestions for these types of burns?

No I didn't have safety goggles.

cant really sue the college due to having known you should have been wearing glasses before starting your course you wouldve been told that at all times during working with any machines you should have been wearing glasses.
