I'm still laughing, cause he's not been on yet and given us the OS or mobo name he use's. As there is only one OS that actually supports 8GB mem on a quad.

I said the 9800 GTX+ not the nornal GTX yes the 8800 isnt anywhere near it, but in actually fact 7/10 the 9800 GTX + outperforms the HD 4850.

Not for long. The 48** Series Drivers are still maturing.

Either way you look @ it, the 4850 / 9800 GTX+ are on an even par and atm the 9800+ is beating the 4850, with drivers yes it will compare around the same but they are both the same price range, mid range GFX, as i said i would always reccomend the 4870 or X2.

Incorrect, the two cards are on par right now, but i can guarantee the 4850 will be quite abit faster than the 9800 GTX+ after a few more Driver releases. The HD 4850 is also slightly cheaper, and you cant go by just one web review. Oh, and DX 10.1, 55nm.

Im not saying dont get the 4850, im saying get it..

I wouldnt buy a Nvidia card at all.. im a Amd + Ati only person.. i just hold out till they doing something special again. yes the 4870 is the better card by miles, but im watiting till the price comes down on it.

I dont just read one review, i though that was the best explained one i found i used that as an example, here are more tho..

Those reviews are using very old drivers and half of it is B/S. I laughed at those numbers.

Lol your getting a bit annoyed that a 9800 GTX+ beat a 4850 aint you.. do you own one or summit and cant admit another card is better or something? your forgetting the GTX+ is a pretty new card also... those drivers will also mature, anyway forget about mid range cards.. those are for small time users :P the majority.

Also what you are forgetting, its a known fact the 9800 GTX+ is only better at lower setting, when the settings go up.. they story changes. Thats the reason you buy the 4850, and no card is going to win hands down at every game, unless your talknig about a crossfire 4870 X2 setup... Quad 4870 win hands down over anything.

I own a HD 4850, and the reason why i own it is because its better than the 9800 GTX+, so tell me, how can a 9800 GTX+ be better than a HD 4850 if its only slightly faster at lower settings?

You just ****ing owned yourself.
You seriously have no clue what your talking about.

4850 > 9800 GTX+ unless you want to play at 800x600 0AA 0AF.

Lol obv you aint done your research then have you? by lower setting i mean 1290x1200+ its only with AA + AF on higher setting and @ a higher screen res the 4850 shows its performace, now the fact that not everyone can even go beyond 1280x1024 or likes using AA + AF is my point.

Example = You play on a 19" monitor, using no AA + AF.. the 9800GTX+ is a better card to use atm.

Example = You playing with a 24" monitor, using AA + AF max setting on 1290x1200... the 4850 is the better card to own.

No, this is how it goes, the HD 4850 is on par with the 9800GTX+ on lower settings, the HD 4850 slashes it at higher settings. The HD 4850 has much more raw power and much more futureproof than the GTX, why you would get a 9800GTX+ over a HD 4850 is beyond me. Like i said before, it just shows how much you know.

http://techreport.com/articles.x/15559/1

Like i said, the HD 4850 in better overall no matter what res you play at, it only loses out in Crysis which dont like ATI cards ANYWAY, and when the 8.10 Drivers come out in a few weeks they will rape the face off the 9800GTX+, im already using the 8.10 Beta Drivers.

And its cheaper -.-
