Started playing a mir server it's not bad i guess, anyway to the point :

wanted to play windowed mode so downloaded virtual pc again set it all up which took a while may i add. Now back in the day it used to work a treat for windowed mir.

I install the server client etc on the virtual PC double click the .exe and BAM error message :

Sorry this application cannot run under a virtual machine.

What the **** is this all about? it used to work back in 1.9 etc so whats changed?

Windowed mir created bugs i believe. you could Mine on more then one account and become super rich etc... so it was taken out

Out of interest, did you use Microsoft Virtual PC or VMWare? As ive tried with MCVPC and it didnt work, just wondered if you had tried VMWare .

Have not tried VMWare will give it a shot though, thanks Haz.

Im pretty sure that TD blocked it out because of that reason.

Yes td blocked things like VMWare but i thought it was only server side he did it too good luck getting it to work if he has because he has stopped coding for a while.
