Ok I was gaming away on my monitor all being fine as it has been for years when the whole screen turned white for around 3 seconds then got back to normal, after another 15 minutes-ish it done it again then it was fine for hours, when eventually it done it and is permanently white now.
I've tried taking cables out etc etc, tried hitting it (lol) I came to the conclusion that if i just leave the power cable in and take the other wires out the screen is still white. The power cable is connected to a power pack which is connected to the mains.
Does anyone have any idea what's wrong and maybe a possible solution?
PS. its a BenQ 17" LCD monitor (FP783 <- model number)
