wmp codec for vista

ive finally started using my new pc, but i cant find any codecs for wmp to allow me to play all video formats.

i had an nvidia codec for my old pc, but it only works on xp and not vista.

i dont really want to use seperate programs to watch videos (like vlc), wld like everything to be ran in wmp.

can anyone suggest one?
