how do i write a .dsf file (film) to a dvd so that my m8 can automatically play it back wen he puts cd in?

I've never heard of DSF files as being films. I'm sure they have something to do with micrografx or pc-trust. Are you sure DSF is the file extension and not just the name of the group that released it?
To make sure, goto the folder its stored in and;
1. Click tools
2. Click folder options
3. Click view
4. Uncheck 'hide extensions for known filetypes'.
5. Apply and OK

DSF files can be loaded into a Winamp plugin called Highly Theoretical.
