we already tried remotely rebooting it the same way ACP did yesterday, server was completely unresponsive to the shutdown commands though. It said it was turning off, but then it didnt do it.

turn off the stupid vista thing where it makes windows have an opacity and you will get back about 20% of that ram usage.

64 should not cause any problems over 32, i use Vista 64 every day. 64 bit can run 32 bit programmes but 32 bit can't run 64 bit.

The graphics card holds the support for shaders, but if you have out of date drivers that could cause issues. A lot of game problems that are caused in vista (not mainly in next gen etc games) is because of the location of the my documents folders. I doubt and graphics card that is integrated...

Do you have the vista side bar up with the opacity effect on? Take if off if you do it will eat up resources.
