Would you be able to rent items of an npc, for a set amount of time?

how do you check and remove them via an npc. I have tried @checkgamepoint and @checkgamepoints and @check gamepoint @take gamepoints and all of the above. but none of them working.

Just wondering if it's possable to do this. Have a pet npc, that you pay x amount of gold for, and for that gold you can get the pets say 5 times, then you have to pay again?
