M2 server options. (long post)

Well been going through the m2 server options and there are a lot of things in here at i don't really understand, so just posting here, hoping you can help.

View > Lists >
Game log
Drop limiter
Item name
IP binding

Options > Genral Config> Networrk Addresses>
messeage server ip adress set to 192.168.0.1

Options > Game Configrations > General
power rates > monster = 10 when i change this it only seems to change the a speed of mobs
power rates > items = 10 when i change this, it seem to mess up all the orbs and gems, and only adds stats to a select few items.

Options > Game Configrations> server mode
Server modes > not sure what any of them mean

Options > Game Configrations> Miscellaneous
Dropping

Options > Game Configrations> Game Speed
Dont know what any of this stuff is for

Options > Game Configrations> War/Time settings
Save human RCD
Free delay time

Options > Game Configrations>
Normal chat

Options > Function Configurations> General
Hunger system, dose this work?

Options > Function Configurations> Master
Whats this and is it working?

Options > Function Configurations> Rebrith
Is this working?

Options > Function Configurations> monsters levels
no idea waht any of this is.

Options > Function Configurations> Monsay
Understand what it is, but ot sure how it works.

Taming level, not really sure what this is for.

Make a Backup and play around thats how i learnt i cant remember most of them becasue i need to start playing around with them again.

I think he was looking for a more 'detailed' answer. But that sounds like the "if you have time" way. Surely there must be 1 post / thread on LOMCN that tells you this, or if you google it. But I'll try and find out for ya'z!

Game log - What items are logged by the logserver
Drop limiter - Place items in here that you want to limit. E.G <Item> 1 = Only 1 will drop per session
Item name - Logs all items that have name changes
IP binding - Logs items that are bound to a certain IP

Options > Genral Config> Networrk Addresses>
messeage server ip adress set to 192.168.0.1 - Message server should be your servers IP

Options > Game Configrations > General
power rates > monster = 10 when i change this it only seems to change the a speed of mobs - 10 = The stats in DB 11 = 10% more ect, it affects all mon stats
power rates > items = 10 when i change this, it seem to mess up all the orbs and gems, and only adds stats to a select few items. - This is because when increased it adds more stats to the stats already set in DB, like above for mon power

Options > Game Configrations> server mode
Server modes > not sure what any of them mean - Which modes?

Options > Game Configrations> Miscellaneous
Dropping - This is to do with added stats from drops @make is made stats other is mon drops. I find 25-30 is a good number for mon drops

Options > Game Configrations> Game Speed
Dont know what any of this stuff is for - This is casting pause speed/Walking/running/hitting ect ect

Options > Game Configrations> War/Time settings
Save human RCD - The time setting for records to be saved to the DB (Player records)
Free delay time - Same as above

Options > Game Configrations>
Normal chat - Don't know

Options > Function Configurations> General
Hunger system, dose this work? - Never tried.. Try..

Options > Function Configurations> Master
Whats this and is it working? - Master system, like marrage. Yes it is, search for 'Master NPC script'

Options > Function Configurations> Rebrith
Is this working? - Yes it is, quite complicated to use and setup.

Options > Function Configurations> monsters levels
no idea waht any of this is. - The settings for how fast pets level and their colours

Options > Function Configurations> Monsay
Understand what it is, but ot sure how it works. - Search for this, its monsters speaking

No idea what this is. -Me either.. More detail is needed..

Taming level, not really sure what this is for. - Isn't this one obvious? Affects the ease or difficulty and cap in mon level to wiz taming.

its a file called either monsay or monmsg and if you have one it should have details of what mob says what and when it says it and if it globals shouts etc etc and so on..
