1.9 STD_Items Merging?

As the title says, Im wondering if it's possible to merge L-STD_Items files together to expand the will's that can be used throughout the client and the database to give a little more customization to the current Kits etc. Also to expand and bring new Armours/Weapons into the Game/Server.

Any Idea how this can be done?
