Been searching all over lomcn and used a few diff programmes but none seem to be actually loading/opening the map files from 2.3

look in the data folders of clients
theres usually a program called mapedit, which imo is the best one to use

No such thing...

I think you mean a map edit which reads the 2009/2010 map format? As of such, there's only the source, but no map edit which actually reads and creates new format has been released, i am aware of two groups making set (4h and ruby), neither are ready for release though, and im not sure if either are being released to public, i believe, there's max of 3 people whom have copies outside of the groups.
