2.6 files

Ok so i havent had anything to do with creating a server since the 1.9 days. What and how do i setup to change things in db of the 2.6 server files?

Tryed the mysql guide for 2.3, and couldnt find anything similar to the file it was trying to tell me to find, so can anyone talk me through setting up sql or DBCommander for 2.6 files? Thanks

I don't think a DB needs setting up it's already in that db viewer thingy.

Hmm i tried using the db viewer they give you, but as far as i can see you can only edit things already in the db, rather than create new things.
