I have played Mir2 for more years than i wish to remember, but after upgrading my system, i am finding Mir2 almost too laggy to play, due to my system being on Win 7, and I was wondering, with Mir3 being a newer version, possibly in a different language/ or engine whether it runs better on Win 7?

the main issue i have on mir2 is when i have drop view turned on i get like 2 step lag, when its turned off it plays fine.

Any fixes or answers to if mir3 would run better would be most appreciated.

:)

It's because windows 7 isn't meant to run low rate graphics for games, so you will get graphic lag as it's trying to run at 8bit. Your best option for both Mir 2 & 3, is to run the graphic card in the lowest possible setting you can get from it and then build it up slowly with settings until you happy with what you get.

Mir 3 runs at 800x600 resolution. Hopefully we will have the files with 1024x768 support soon.

Screen size doesn't really matter, as at 1024x768 it still runs at 16bit color and windows 7 doesn't like low rate color exchange.

I've never said it will have 32 bits color. He said he hates 800x600 and I said we will probably have a new resolution.

You can't change the resolution. Mir runs at 800x600 and there's nothing you can do.

As I said, Azura added 1024x768 resolution on the open source files, but they're not playable atm.
