People only call it a let down because it's not RPG orientated. I played it and completed it and it was a thorough enjoyment as i didn't cling to the past theme of the previous games.

technically FFX-2 and FF11 arent really in the series FFX-2 is the pretty much the add on to FFX and FF11s just the online version of it but FFXIII in the series speaking is FF11 so it'd go
FFX FFXI(or FFXIII)

Almost completed FFX-2... Good game lacks depth in story though... still a good game none the less. The next "proper" FF is 12...www.ff12.com for moe info... if your japanese lol
