Few months ago I hear the radio said VCD data will be delete in ten years. Is it the true? Is it the DVD data will be delete in ten years too? Wish someone can tell me THANKS...

Assuming you mean entertainment media, yes.
First, there was good old vhs. Then came along a bunch of other crap that never caught on (laser dics, etc) and then came the DVD standard. Now a new standard is coming, whether it be HD-DVD or Blu-ray I dunno. The reason for the switch is for high resolution video which current dual layer DVD's cannot hold. Nothing to worry about for quite a while though.

hd-dvd and blu-ray is like history repeating itself. in the end its not gonna be the best performer that gets a foothold.. it's gonna be the publicity and marketting that secure domination. think betamax and vhs...
