[CD3.55] Account Creation

Hi guys, need a little help and advice on a few things.

- Trying to connect to my server when on the same router? Ive done all ip's etc for people to connect. Ive edited listmake with my servers internal ip (192.168 etc) it shows server online. When i try to change the ips to my external ip (147.98 etc) it shows as offline. When creating an account with (192 ip) it doesnt connect properly. Create account/done button is greyed out. I change the ip on regsvr in listmake from 7010 to 7100 and the done button is now highlighted, but upon pressing it just changed the red security code and stays on the account creation screen.

Ugh struggling a little. If anyone has alot of mir3 server knowledge and dont mind me adding them to skype, mssg me.

I think that u have Loopback problems. Try to change your router.

In 3.55 there is only 2/3 IP's directly in the files that need to be changed to external, all the rest stay as 127.0.0.1 (Unless you want lan access as well, though connecting externally and not over lan will reduce lag) - The first is in the DB, I don't know the other of the top of my head.

Hmmm, well i changed only 1-2 ip to external and 1-2 to my internal. Left all the rest as 127.0.0.1 whats the loading sequence also? Could that be the problem? Do i need to load logonsvr, logingate and regsvr?

I did fear this may be the case. But i do believe there may be an ip amiss

have you tried making the accounts normally and seeing if people can connect that way so you can narrow down the possibilities.

Q: Can you connect to the server on the server using 127.0.0.1 in all IP's? - This will rule out loop back issues

Also I would suggest using IdBigA's IP changer, there is one for 3.55 as well as King.
