Any of you play Far Cry?

right so if this game was to be played online, how much RAM, GFX and PSU would it need for a server with alot of people in it?

Asus a7n8x deluxe mobo

but I want

athlon 64 bit o/ced
3 gig ram
radion 9800 PRO
Dual processor

PIV 3.06 ghz (running on 3.8 ghz)
2GB Gell Ram
Radeon 9800 pro 256 MB

And it runs verry smooth but no suprise there

In response to jason987: dont bother with the Athlon 64 until a 64 bit OS is released. The benefits wont be all that noticeable, especially for the price.

Wait until the future when it is sued a lot and also be a lot cheaper

ATM there is a 64 bit version of Windows XP but It is beta or something and terribly buggy
Also there is a 64 bit version of linux which works ok

I cba to ge tone now tho...the price

Apparrently though games will be coming out in 64 bit edition for linux lol

the athlon 64 series is still an awesome cpu in 32bit windows enviroment.. it kills the p4c in gaming.

turn aa and af up all the way and set the ati control panel to quality settings and set res to 1600x1200. or even 1024x768. sub 30 fps easy.

i dont need to go to ur place. u listed ur specs. its obvioulsy not on high becus i saw a 9800xt with a athlon 64 get low fps with 19xx by xxxx resolution (cant remember) and with aa and af ertc etc all turned high. kid, i know my ****, especially when it comes to gaming.

I can play FarCry on highest res smooth, end off story, and i hope that ur proud off urself, "knowing" everything off games.
