Other Apple - How to set the files up

Has anyone fiddled around with these Apple files by any chance?
I'm not sure on how to set them up for live, would it be done the same way as 2.3 / heroes or what?

Any information on this topic would be great, cheers

You need to use Heroes client, with the patches. It's as easy as heroes to set up, however I think the set on here doesn't work or at least has a work around in the source.

Not to mention there completely chinese (Chronicles uses AppleM2 Engine)

Your best bet is to ask one of the team members of Chronicles to release a binary set of an much older source (AceM2).
