is there any way of getting around this as torrents are really slow during there "peak times" ive got 40mb and can download from websites etc fast but torrents over weekends and certain times is enoyingly slow. or if anyone knows any pay wensites which isnt to expensive wich arent p2p?

If your using torrents, then use a client such as Vuze and change the ports on which you communicate. However as your on BT Infinity, you may actually find your going to be throttled from main torrent sites, due to new policys in place by BT. You may need to join a private site such as http://www.torrentleech.org or http://www.iptorrents.com (I have invites for both)
