I have seen loads of posts about this and everyone seems to have their problems solved, apart from me >_<
When i try to run m2server.exe it comes up with the error box and gives you the choice of wether to send microsoft details on the problem.
I have tried the un plug and pray(play?) program, i've tried-Start->ControlPanel->AdministrativeTools->Services->Universal plug and play device host and disabled it.
And Start -> Run -> Msconfig -> Services Tab -> scroll down to SSDP Discovery Service -> untick -> OK

All of which made absolutely no difference as i still get the same error.

Any help would be much appreciated :)

I forget how to take screenshots of desktop so i'll print word for word..

"M2server.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

If you were in the middle of something, the information you were working on might be lost.

Please tell microsoft about this problem.
We have created an error report that you can send to us. We will treat this report as confidential and anonymous.

I get that error with every method i try.

*Sigh*

"cntrl alt delete =>processes =>sv chost local => end proces" doesn't work and "www.fernys.co.uk > mir downloads > UnPnP > Disable It > No Error" i said before that one didn't work for me ;)

Keep the answers coming, one of them may actually work for me one day :)

simple way to do this is .... lol i had this prob once, a m8 told me how.

Crtl+Alt+Del
Processes
svchost.exe - Local Service (End This Process)
svchost.exe - Network Service (End This Process)

thats all i got told to do, then it works fine :P, but these processes always return after u turn ur comp off
