colour help plz

trying to make my own login screen n stuff but the colours are funny :S
ive tried it in jpg and a bmp but they come out the same, ne1 know whats up?

must be the colours you're saving it in.

If you get the original login image out of the file, keep it in its current colour/image format...load it in paint, then import your login image in paint (so it's on top of the original), then save it.

Then hopefully it'll save your login image as the same colour format as the original.

I believe mini maps and things had this problem, and I did it by doing this in paint, so hopefully it'll work for this too. It's been a long time since I did it, so I hope it works.

no its the same. when i paste it over the normal login screen the colours change as soon as ive pasted it :S

Put it over a black black or white screen not original login screen

its exactly the same again lol put it over an all black background and the colours go exactly the same

your are trying to import a 32,000 colour in to a program that dons't support 32,000 colours. I think mir runs on 256, or myabe 16,000, i might be wrong tho.

But you need to save the photo as 256 colours.

As Jamie said. Mir 2 doesnt support that much colour ><
Its only 8bit I think.
