Converting to DVD

Downloaded a film, and its in .avi format.

Im using DVD Santa to convert it, but i get an error as son as i start to convert.

Any ideas?

download k-lite mega codec pack that will sort ur issues out, it wont have the codecs on ur computer to convert the filetypes

Its becoz the AVI is MPEG-4 and the prog aint reading the codec properly.

Try using nero 7 Vision, works a treat for me

I cant get on server at moment but i have a great one I advise just look on Google Friend Power Type in Avi Converter Dvd get millions of them mate take a look and when i get onto my server i will send you it

here is winavi 7, with the serial number, add the serial and reboot your machine, when you start winavi it should say WEB in red at the top that means its now fully registered

really easy to use, bit of advice dont run the view window when converting, make sure you quit any no essential programs that are running, this will speed up the conversion and also helps to secure a good conversion.
just burn the dvdfiles when converted with nero or any other burning program

if you have vobsub directshow vsfilter.dll installed, winavi can encode the avi with subtitle.

I think its something to do with registry keys, dont ask me why i just have a feeling. Try something like a 'bug fixer' this thing should sort out your problems, either that or stick ur xp disk in and try repair.

nero decodes avi and turns them into dvd,
only problem with nero is it takes hours to convert and rewrite to dvd

Think u just have to guess what episode your watching for an episode DVD....
