not really a server but otherwise no one would see this:

i've d/l the 1gig file and now what do i need to do to get on a server? anyone help plz?

well u need first of all to go to www.gothic-serv.co.uk

download everyupdate from there as it says

then extract them to the right places

then change the mir4.ini to the right ip and server name of the server you want to play

then create an account on that server using either an account creation program or the mir 1.4 files with the correct ip of the server you want to play

then hit mir4.exe

type in you username and password and off you go
