Any1 ever tried to do so? and If, then it worked or not? Most dedicated servers who support windows got that crap win 2008 standard edition and I cant risk taking it without making sure it works.

Yeah definately only reliable on XP and server 2000, i havent heard about or tested 2003 personally.

ahh ok, chances are then its reliable, but some OS's will have it soemtimes and others won't so still gotta be carefull

Yeah I ran 3.55 on server 2003 myself but never tested on 2008 standard, thats where my question comes from.

Definately wont get it to work in windows 2008. Even if you can somehow crack the exe, there are others that wont even open on 2008
Its getting more and more difficult to get a Mir3 server running unless you opt for king files or manage to find a server company that still offers 2k3
