cyclic redundancy check

ok when i tried to reinstall planetside it gets to about half way through installing cd one then brings up an error saying cyclic redundancy check. i dont see what the prob is as it worked a few weeks ago when i first installed it.

any info will be appreciated greatly.

crc errors generally mean the file isn't intact or in a state it should be, as far as whatever is checking it is concerned.

it could be that you scratched the CD, the CD reader is a bit buggered or, err... something else

If you can, try installing it on someone else's PC, this might help deduce the problem.
