database's problem

when i try and restore any off the databases i get Code 936 is not supported by the operating system SYSTEM restore is terminated abnormally and help is much appreciated thankyou

Few Quesions:

1. What version of SQL Are you using - 2000 or 2005
2. Have you checked the path it is trying to restore to, if this does not exsist, it fails.

Have you got the Latest Server Pack on there (Currently Sp4) for MSSQL - this might be the problem..

Well its a dedi box so its running windows 2003 lol it didnt make a difference last time we put the server up ty.
