Request Dbserver can not add null to FLD_INDEX?

I have a little problem that my dbserver is saying can not add null to FLD_INDEX im using Sql 2005

Sorted i had a dumb moment i just went into Tbl charlist and put acsept nulls to yes

You don't want NULL in an index field.

Iv put it as yes cause thats the only way to connect
