ei start time exeption

hi ppl
any 1 know what could b wrong here im trying to run e.i on my own pc for my own use i down loaded all filed i need when i start it up i get an error come up with read emergancy map:[0]459,261 start time exeption 127.0.0.1
any suggestions plz ppl

Normally this is caused by having the wrong dir entered into your DBserver configuration.

Where it says "map file dir" it is actually looking for the mapinfo.txt file which is not generally in your map file dir.

Just change that to c:\mud3\mir300\envir and all should work fine.

Have u remembered to put an \ at the end of each dir llocation in your setup.txt file?

c:\mud3\mir300\map\

and so on?

yep i get this 2. its really annoying, and no one can seem to come up with a solution that actually fixes it. anyone please hav any other ideas?
