exp rate

How do i change exp rate on my server?

double click on the server window white or green area... there should be exp/mon/gold/whatever rate

Cos when i try set it higher it still stays at 4

aye, cant u go into the mob files and change the exp there/

easiest way is to do it on the server... 4x

next easiest is to change your mob exp... almost anyx

next if you are using crueldragon there's a crueldragon.ini and there is a list of exps per level... lower that (ie. delete the last 0 to get 10x) (not sure if this works.)

you can make better experience rates than that, i had a maximum of 128x EXP on my crueldragon3g server, goto your !SETUP.exe through the console.exe
the 4 drop down boxes at the end are
Monster Spawn rate
Item Drop Rate
Money Drop Rate
Exp Multiplyer

This has been tested, theres a few users on this board testing my server they can confirm this.

Sorry to be the one to say it. But ive been looking for these for awhile.. And turbo.. There arent 4 drop down boxes in console.exe Editing setup.txt

Change the mobs exp in the SQLQuery of the database that contains the table HL_Monster

update HL_Monster set exp = exp * X

X = number of how much you want to times it by

EG - update HL_Monster set exp = exp * 20 - this would be a x20 exp server

@gargus: Not sure, My CruelDragon.exe (while loading) says 3.38 (3.55 is too much of a hassle)

anyone have a newer version of console.exe they can send me.. please? lol
