Pretty sure the prob is in the game folder as a messed around with the mir.ini's, if you could just lemmie know what needs changing or post what it should look like. I got ALL exe's from the same download from 'Guide to Setting up 2.3 Server' at the top of the forum and have made BASIC changes in order to get this far. Thanks in advance, been trying to just get ingame for a week lol.

Make an account manualy in your MSSQL and then try logging in with that.

I'm sure it'l be one of your gates or something..

You dont have the up to date database. Read through the updates.doc.

Also check in the TBL_CharInfo you have a field called Killpoints.

Just had a look and I do have Fld_killpoints. Also the latest update in the document was:

Release: 0808200701
· fixed a few small things
· fixed marriage startdate (and prob every date that gets stored in server

I got all these files in 1 download so I presumed they should all work together regardless of how new each of the exe's are. Also when you say I need the latest database, do you mean the DBserver.exe or the actual files that you restore?
If you mean the restore files, there was a more up to date version but it only works with SQL 2005 aparently, so I just used the older version that was provided for SQL 2000 users, maybe thats my problem?

Thanks for help mate.

Yeah it would be your problem. I will fix up one later on today. I do have one that works with MSSQL 2000. I wont be able to help you until about 6pm.

I will post it in a new thread as Ive seen quite a few people asking for this.
